Huda Beauty Liquid Mate Lipstick: Flirt

Survery says.... it's okay. Yes it's matte and yes it stays on pretty ok but I'm not in love with the color.

The lipstick goes on liquid and dries. It starts off the color I want, then turns pinky or purpley instead of the brown that I want. Makes me sad. I wanted to love it. But I don't.
I admit I struggle with nude colors (well lipstick in general honestly). It didn't smudge, it didn't get on my teeth but I still didn't love it.

Vegalash... does it work?

UPDATE IT DOES WORK -- with time.
Picture
According to Vegalash: the "hypoallergenic formula gives you longer looking lashes but also provides greater density, creating a bold, voluminous look as fast as 15 days."
Picture
The left picture was 15 days ago. Do you see a difference? If you don't it's ok, I don't either. The website also says "This hormone-free, latex-free, hypoallergenic serum is comprised of a natural, vegan formula for safe and effective results and is gentle enough for sensitive eyes." But it irritates my eyes and I am going to send it back and get a refund. So I give this product two thumbs down... my eyes/eyelids are itchy and my lower eyelid looked very puffy yesterday. I don't know exactly what's in it but I'll stick with castor oil instead.

A two month supply of vegalash is $79 however they do run sales! If it works for you, let me know!

UPDATE as of May 8th
So I didn't send it back haha! Lazy! But eventually the irritation went away and I have noticed a difference! The pictures are one month apart naked lashes.

So I will be turning the big 3-0 this year (don't quite know how I feel about it yet lol) I look really young and I want to keep it that way!! I still get carded for rated-R movies and curfew! I blame it on my skin (or maybe my height 🤷🏽‍♀️) Anywho...A few months ago while reading the labels of allllllll my face soaps I was so confused as to why i was putting that crap on my face...and paying $30 for crap, so I looked to google and my favorite bloggers and I found some great all natural products to keep me looking like a fine tenderoni lol!!! First things first, the secret ingredient in the fountain of youth is WATER!!!! Drink water for goodness sake! Sugary shit will just seep right out your poor pores, that Pepsi will turn into a pimple before you know it. Now I'm a simple person, with a full time job, two kids and 83 piles of laundry at all times so I don't have time for 30 minute daily facial cleansing routines. I wash my face with cold water and an all natural face cleanser by Acure (now sold at target-yippee), I dry my face with a clean towel, then I use witch hazel as my toner to keep this skin nice and tight (and shrink any pimples if I have any) then my grand finale is a little morraccan argan oil as my moisturizer (it's a very light oil, even if you have oily skin you should still be fine) and that's it! My face has been so clear! Hope this helps you guys reverse the hands of time or at least look like you did!!! Below are the products I use everyday and a horrible picture of my skin close up as I could possibly get lol

ORS Curls Unleashed Review

In my February Curl Kit there were samples for everything you need for a "Co-Wash N' Go" look. (Even though the style on the package looked more like a twist out than a wash and go but I digress). So I tested it the theory.

Step One: Rinse Out Conditioner

Picture
Whoops I didn't take pictures of the sample package before I used it (also ignore my chipped nails I've been on mommy mode). The rinse out conditioner is supposed to be rejuvenating. It did leave my hair feeling clean but still
moisturized, while that's great... it smelled like banana to me. I HATE BANANAS so that made me sad. No, it's not a deal breaker... unless the rest of the products smelled like bananas, which they didn't. (Thank goodness)

Step Two: Hair Milk

Picture
When is comes to hair milk, I'm usually heavy handed with the product and this one was no different. It's light but not too light, not as light as Mielle organic but not as heavy as Kandy Kurls mousiturizer.

Step Three: Leave In Conditioning Cremé

Picture
Once again I'm heavy handed when it comes to product for a wash and go because I need my curls to clump and it tends to work.

Baby eczema...my everyday treatment for those pesky dry patches

My 9 month old, Baby Dallas 🤗, was recently diagnosed with eczema (pretty much a dry skin condition) so I had to bid farewell to those lovely smelling baby lotions! The fragrance in the lotions were making his skin look and feel horrible! I tried every "sensitive" baby soap and lotion I could find but nothing was working. I use Dr. Bronners soaps myself so I was overjoyed when I came across Dr. Bronners fragrance free Castile baby soap! 🙌🏽. Now I just need a lotion for him...I bought some Eucerine lotion for my oldest who also has dry skin so I decided to give that a try on the baby. I bathe him like I normally do every night and twice a day I lather him down with the the thick, creamy Eucerine and within the first week his skin improved drastically! Although I do miss that baby scent, I'd rather my little guy have soft baby skin!

The queen of the castle!

So almost all of my friends have daughters and I am a mommy to 2 beautiful boys! Although I have to deal with pee on the toilet (and sometimes the wall...somehow the fu$&ing wall) and being pee'd in the face during a diaper change! I guess there's lots of pee when you have boys 🤷🏽‍♀️Anywho.... I love having sons! They are so fun, and they allow me "let loose" and still be looked at like a queen! Only a son is impressed that mommy can burp like a 300 pound man. Right?! Sons have a special way of making mommy feel special with booger and ear wax collages, and they have turned me into a basketball crazed lady (I hated sports before my oldest son. HATED) Now you can catch me every weekend jumping on the stands yelling at refs about unfair fouls! And don't get me started on superhero movies #teamMarvel!!!!! Daughters may be fun and all but Sons keep you grounded...they light up my life and my bathroom 😷 wouldn't trade them for the world

Hair Review: Addictive Glam

I got the 360 frontal and two bundles (12 & 14) body wave from Addictive Glam. I got it during the Black Friday sale so it was less than $200 total.
Picture
You have to wash the hair before you wear it, it feels like a film is over the hair and lacks that nice new hair feel when you unpack it.
Picture
I knew I was making a wig out of the hair so I didn't wash it first but decided to make the wig and highlight it, then wash the hair after.
Picture
After I washed the hair it was nice and soft! We shall see how long it lasts.

Happy One Month to Ivy ❤️

Picture
Ivy is officially one month today! I decided to brush off my camera and take some pictures! I was too cheap (ahem I mean)... I was careful with my funds and decided against paying $500+ for newborn pictures and the ones we got from the hospital were absolutely horrible! So we had fun with pictures today! Correction: I had fun, Ivy was irritated with me I'm sure. Take a look and let me know how I did!

She pecks me out of love.

There's a special way breastfed babies greet people who hold them. I compare it to a pecking chicken looking for food. Not unlike a pecking chicken, babies peck around looking for food.

It's kinda cute. But you know what's not cute? My leaky breast. (Okay they are cute because they are now huge from AA to a small C but I digress). But also what's not cute, it the fact that Ivy is asleep and my boobs are completely full. I'm faced with a delimma, do I get my lazy but up and pump or do I deal with the pain?

But of course the moment I decide to get up, Ivy awakes (yes!) ready to eat. Peck, peck latch.... and there goes boob number two leaking, well now dripping. Okay so I switch her, and now boob number one leaks... didn't I just empty a little bit of you though? 😡 It's never enough.

Easily I can buy breast pads and stop the leaking... but why spend extra money when I'm just on leave. I'll invest when it's time to go back to work, I wouldn't want to be that girl on air with two wet spots on her shirt 😳.

Let me not talk abut how unsexy a leaky boob is, what's the point of these huge girls if I can't.... (but I digress ahem) But of course I wouldn't change it for the world. Breastfeeding is the best thing I'll ever do for Ivy.
