Nose Nasties: Can I Get Rid Of Nose White Heads

3/12/2018

I have icky white heads around my nose and on it. My mom used to walk up to me a squeeze my nose up to get the out and man did it hurt! It worked mostly, but there has to be a better way!  So I googled and found Egg White Perfect Nose Kit by Skinfood at Ulta for $4. It claims (mostly in a language I can't read) to clean up all the icky and cure your nose of the horror. For $4 I doubted that it worked but hey, its $4. So it's 3 different steps but they all involve placing a little white strip that kinda looks like the typical biore thing, but only step two is like that.

Step 1

Step one seems like the goal is to bring the oil to the forefront of the pore to be removed later. Yep, it did that. I had one pore that looked perfectly fine until this step (20 minutes later) and a huge gross oil worm appeared. It was gross.

Step 2

Step 2 is like the biore strip pad... but it hurt worse. OW! I wasn't impressed with what was on the strip. (picture below)

Step 3

Step 3 seemed to be a soothing type step to help close the pores after being traumatized with the skin ripping power of step 2.
Overall it was alright. I did notice my nose pore change. Some were increased in size due to step one but if you're looking to get the nose nasties in the little creases on the side of the nose like I really wanted to, then this is better than the biore pad alone, but don't expect to be mind blow by it. I mean, it's $4. Skip Starbucks and check it out...or not. What's your favorite nose nasties cure? I'd happily try it for my nose. I'm plagued with them.

Detoxing, Glowifying face mask

Once a week I like to give myself a mini facial, and I try to use all natural products as much as I can. With this mask I only used 5 ingredients: calcium bezonite clay, raw-unfiltered honey, almond oil, apple cider vinegar, And of course H2O. If you're anything like me, you wanna know why the hell you're putting food and dirt on your face soooooo here's the dirt on the dirt (lol).....

Calcium benzonite clay pulls toxins from your skin as it dries, we come in contact with sooooo many toxins and pollutants throughout the day (and night) and the clay just sucks it all out while delivering its own nutrients back into your skin. You can also eat or drink this clay for its nutritional value but we shall save that for another day.

Raw-unfiltered honey is a natural antibacterial, so just like the clay get rid of toxins, the honey draws out the bacteria which cause acne, pimples, zits, and things that resemble aliens growing out your face the day before you have some where to go 🤷🏽‍♀️. Anywho, Honey also also leaves your face super soft, I don't why but it does.

Almond oil is really good for your skin, and it actually resembles the oil that our bodies naturally make so it's not too heavy and won't make you feel weighed down.

Apple cider vinegar balances the pH of the skin, it's also contains alpha hydroxyl acids that will remove dead skin and reveal healthy and vibrant new skin.

water, well your body is like 70% of water so your skin needs that too....also drink 2 bottles of water while you wait for your mask to dry. Your body will thank you later lol

I mix one cup of clay with a spoon ful of honey, two spoonfuls of almond oil, two spoonfuls of ACV, and I add water until I get it to be the right "masky" texture. Mix this with a wooden spoon. (The clay pulls toxins from metals so it's not a good mix.) smear it on your face nice and thick and wait for it to dry, you'll feel your skin tightening as you wait! Then wash it off. I felt quit refreshed once I was finished! And I had a bit of a glow! And bam, enjoy your beautiful face!!
